Sculpture "Berlin" - B707 (D-ABOC)

Sustainability in its simplest form: Special edition "Berlin" table sculptures, made from the outer skin and spars of the B707 with the fictitious registration D-ABOC, which until recently stood at Berlin-Tegel Airport and is a true icon among enthusiasts.

The sculpture could hardly be more steeped in history! The "Berlin" has long been an absolute highlight among connoisseurs. Still under its real identifier "4X-ATB" for the Israeli airline EL AL, the B707 was hijacked on September 6, 1970 in an attack by the PFLP during a flight from Amsterdam to New York. The Boeing was rescued along with its passengers and crew. Later, the aircraft was handed over by Boeing to Lufthansa, which then displayed it at Berlin-Tegel Airport in Lufthansa colors and under the fictitious registration D-ABOC. There the "Oscar Charlie" stood until the closure of the airport in 2020. The "Berlin" was then auctioned off and finally dismantled in 2021. Fortunately, we were able to secure some parts and hope to pass them on to true enthusiasts.
