Deco Wood Propeller WWI Blue Tip, 120 cm

Every aircraft that flew through the sky during the First World War and the 1920s were equipped with wooden propellers. They were mounted on a shaft of huge six- to twelve-cylinder engines and set in motion by a powerful sweep of the propeller. Early wooden propellers are often the only artifacts salvaged from old aircraft, and antique propellers are rare and expensive. This replica is handcrafted from solid pine, just as it was in the original.
